I am fascinated by all aspects of cartography, from data collection on the field or remote sensing methods, to structuring information in geodatabases towards map production. I find the development of digital maps, geospatial analysis and Web GIS particularly attractive, as they enable a location-independent and fast access to relevant information to end users.

As a GIS and Remote Sensing expert I have gained knowledge and experience in various aspects of cartography. I'm very familiar with creating primary information since I have processed and assessed different remote sensing data (e.g. LiDAR, UAV, SONAR, RADAR, Optical satellite imagery) for different applications. Also, I am very well acquainted with surveying in situ. So I have worked with low (outdoor GPS handsets) and high accuracy (Total Station or DGPS) system in both simple and difficult terrain.

In all my professional activities, I have structured information in geodatabases and checked and updated its quality. Furthermore, I have guided staff in the application of GIS, conducted seminars in the field of remote sensing and GIS. I have been involved in the design and execution of research projects, as well as gained experience in managing projects, creating scientific manuscripts and reports for project promoters. In addition, I have presented current results at congresses and private meetings, which has given me security in advising, networking and technical supporting.
